Amazing store! Lots of great treats and good prices. I also get a bunch of the pork buns and other hot foods when we go. The variety is top tier and our son loves going and playing the coin machines and getting an ice cream cone. I wish there was one closer to me because this place has the most delicious foods!

This used to be a 5-star culinary experience. Used to be proud of shopping here since 2008. Today? Clouded fish tanks with no live fish. Empty sections of products. Warm produce. Skinny oxtails for prime price. A deli that frequently is the only reason why people go. No seating to eat. Beard Papa's wasn't even open. Their dipping sauces for noodles dissappeared. Pepper and spice in almost every aisle. Many products are way overpriced. A disappearing sake section which used to be unrrivaled in Oregon. The restaurant is closed off. Almost nobody in the book store. The kitchen section appears to sell more Chinese and Korean cookware than Japanese. The tea section is getting sadder every year. Nearly empty drink section shelves. Overpriced instant ramen that will destroy your wallet and your gut at the same time. Uwajimaya - lucky for you that your poke is still my favorite. Otherwise, braddah cuz. Your store is dying. Oh yeah - your self checkout lady was micromanaging my self checkout experience - apparently she thought I was inccapable of buying my groceries - well - lady - I am a digital systems architect and a son of a master chef. By the way - my father was a part of the James Be

Best hot bar/grab-and-go spot in the Portland metro area. I especially love their tofu musubi! Truth be told, I go for the food but stay for the dope toys! Those officially licensed Bandai Gashapon machines are the pinnacle of cheap thrills. In my experience this store is always clean and organized in a comfortable way.

Great selection, I found a lot of unique items. They have a large library with some cool office supplies. The candy selection was fantastic. The prices are higher than other local shops but I would definitely recommend stopping by and checking things out.
